Exporters look to emerging economies

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra urged Thai exporters to focus on brand establishment to create a better image and generate more income for entrepreneurs.
Ms Yingluck presided over the Prime Minister Export Award presentation yesterday and noted price is no longer a significant strategy for conducting business, as quality and service are key in brand creation.
Deputy Prime Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong said the government is concerned the problems in the US and Europe are long-term, so it is keeping its export growth projection at 15% for next year.
