Bosch unit to maintain R&D spending

BEIJING : With more than 40% of its 2010 global sales coming from products developed in less than two years' time, the German power-tool manufacturer Bosch Power Tools will continue to spend 4 billion (168 billion baht) a year on R&D.
"Innovation is a core business driver for us," said Werner Benade, the senior vice-president for Asia Pacific.
"An increasing proportion of our sales come directly from recently introduced products."
