AFET to upgrade platform, IT system

The Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand (AFET) will propose the government set up a fund for upgrading the IT trading system as part of its market development plan.
The system upgrade aims to increase market liquidity and create a centre for crop and food futures trading in the region.
The master plan will be submitted to the Ministry of Commerce for consideration next month.
