The ukulele has become a big fad in Thailand, with more and more people of all ages taking up the musical instrument long associated with Hawaii.

The popularity of the ukulele started to take off when singer-songwriter Numchok ‘Singto’ Thanatram took up the instrument.

Is the ukulele craze destined to go the way of other musical fads in a few years? Asada Atornphatai doesn't think so.
