PTTGC investments to focus on Indonesia
Strategic location for single market

PTT Global Chemical Plc (PTTGC), which began trading its shares yesterday on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, will focus its overseas investments on Indonesia while streamlining its investments at home.
Chief executive Veerasak Kositpaisal said Indonesia was considered a strategic location for the company ahead of regional integration into the Asean Economic Community (AEC) by 2015.
Indonesia has a huge local market with population of more than 200 million while local petrochemical supply is still short of demand, he said.
