High hopes despite floods

Dhanin Chearavanont has high hopes that heavy post-flood public and private spending on infrastructure and facility improvements will give an appreciable boost to economic growth.
Dhanin Chearavanont, the chairman of CP group, serves deep-fried foods to help flood victims in Nonthaburi. He expects the Thai economy will rebound strongly in 2012.
The chairman of the Charoen Pokphand Group, Thailand's biggest agribusiness conglomerate, said the rehabilitation plans will create a huge number of jobs.
