Thailand's campaign to host the World Expo in 2020 could be upset now the Foreign Ministry stands to get involved, businesses say.
The cabinet on Tuesday appointed the ministry as a core agency to campaign for Ayutthaya to host the event.
Sumet Sudasna, the president of the Thailand Incentive & Convention Association (Tica) said the decision could disrupt the campaign.
