Don Mueang to be flood-proof

Airports of Thailand Plc (AoT) says Don Mueang airport will not be inundated again, even if besieged by the same catastrophic level of flooding seen last year, thanks to innovative solutions now being applied.

The state-controlled airport operator has earmarked 50 million baht for short-term anti-flood measures to keep Bangkok's old airport dry ahead of the rainy season starting in May.
