Etihad increases frequency

Etihad Airways and its subsidiary Airberlin are boosting their Thailand service with a new route and higher frequency.

The United Arab Emirates' flag carrier will launch a third daily flight between its Abu Dhabi home base and Bangkok from April 15 to meet growing demand.

Subject to government approval, Airberlin, which already flies between Bangkok and several German cities, will launch a new daily route between Abu Dhabi and Phuket, the company announced yesterday.
