Consumer confidence in the overall economy rose to 64.0 in January, up from 63.1 reported in December 2011, the Economic and Business Forecasting Centre said on Thursday.
Consumer confidence in job opportunities for the month was 65.4, and 93.1 for future income, according to the centre.
All consumer confidence indices had risen up for two straight months since the flood crisis had ended, said the centre.
