Hitachi poised for rapid data storage growth

Thailand's data storage spending will grow by at least 11% this year to US$50 million thanks to increasing awareness of business continuity needs and skyrocketing video content demand, says a Japan-based storage technology firm.
Watcharasit: No limit to data backups
Watcharasit Santisuknirun, the country manager of Hitachi Data Systems (Thailand), said his company sees high demand from others moving to build or use multi-site data centres to back up data as well as remote branch offices after last year's deluge.
