Iris Group splashes out for precast factory

Property developer the Iris Group will spend 200 million baht to build a precast factory to avoid problems stemming from labour shortages and rising costs.
An artist’s conception shows Venice The Iris Wacharapol, a new community mall and shophouse project on 40 rai developed by property developer the Iris Group. It will feature total lettable area of 7,000 square metres going for 900 to 1,000 baht per sqma month.
Analysts forecast Myanmar labourers may return home as their country opens to foreign investment. Rising costs will stem from increased wages, as the daily minimum wage is expected to jump in April as promised by the ruling Pheu Thai government.
