Country Group Securities Plc plans to maintain its top-five broker ranking by increasing market share to 6% from 5.5% this year.
Chief executive Prasit Srisuwan said the competition among brokers remains high in the first month after liberalisation, as commission fees marginally declined to 0.14% from 0.15% in December.
The Association of Securities Companies (Asco) is working with all 32 securities members to avoid a price war.
