PTT Exploration and Production Plc (PTTEP) will start production in the Gulf of Thailand's Bongkot South block next week, three months earlier than expected.
Chief executive Anon Sirisaengtaksin said the gas will be transported to Thailand via a national gas pipeline at the rate of 320 million cubic feet per day, with the first gas likely to come next week.
Bongkot South is one of the three new-capacity petroleum production resources this year.
