Thaioil sees profits spike by two-thirds
Rising Asian demand in all fields credited

Thaioil Plc (TOP) has reported its 2011 net profit rose by 65.7% over 2010 thanks mainly to higher revenue.
The country's largest oil refiner posted a net profit of 14.85 billion baht last year, up from 8.96 billion baht in 2010, on revenue of 446 billion baht, up by about 40% from 318 billion in 2010.
It also booked a profit contribution of 36.8 million baht from its affiliates compared with a loss of 72.5 million baht in 2010.
