Thaitrade.com joins hands with eight B2B partners

The International Trade Promotion Department has joined with eight local and international organisations in a bid to beef up the Thaitrade.com e-marketplace project.
The signing of a memorandum of understanding between the department and the groups marks the alliance's commitment to a project that intends to become a world-class B2B market, said Nuntawan Sakuntanaga, director-general of the department.
The alliance includes Alibaba.com, a noted B2B e-marketplace, and seven other partners _ Thailand Post Co, Bangkok Bank (BBL), Pantavanij Co, the Gems, Jewelry and Precious Metal Confederation of Thailand, the National Federation of Thai Textile Industries, the Association of Thai Lifestyle Products Federation and the Thai Frozen Foods Association.
