Asean linkage trading outlook still murky
Specific effects on SET remain unknown

Cross-trading under the Asean linkage scheme set to start mid-year should benefit most investors, yet the potential effects on the Stock Exchange of Thailand remain vague.
But Veerathai Santiprabhob, the SET's chief strategy officer and executive director of its Capital Market Research Institutes, said there is still plenty of time for consideration, as markets integrated under the agreement can review their situation after three years.
Therefore, if the SET considers itself not ready after all at that time, then it can take a step back.
