SET surges 18.10 points midday

The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index went up 18.10 points or 1.64% to close at 1,124.51 points at the end of trading on Wednesday morning. The trade value was 18.09 billion baht, with 2.55 billion shares traded.
The SET50 index ended at 790.50 points, up 14.38 points or 1.85%, with a total trade value of 13.90 billion baht.
The SET100 index rose 30.50 points or 1.81% to stand at 1,716.00 points, with a total turnover of 15.67 billion baht.
