The property developer K.E. Land Co aims to create a new community for consumers and construction-related industries with its Crystal Design Center (CDC) worth around 10 billion baht, according to managing director Kaveepan Eiamsakulrat.
With 100,000 sqmof retail space, the Crystal Design Center will house more than 3,000 brands of lifestyle products, design and constructionrelated items, as well as restaurants once all phases of the complex are open in the second quarter next year.
Situated on a 73-rai plot on Pradit Manutham Road, the centre will have 100,000 square metres of retail space for more than 3,000 brands of lifestyle products, design and construction-related items as well as restaurants once all phases of the project are open in the second quarter next year.
The company recently opened the first phase representing around 60% of the total space.
He estimated transactions at the centre would reach 10 billion baht in the first year of operation, calculated from an estimated construction industry value of around 100 billion baht a year.
"It is a one-stop destination for consumers, suppliers, designers and contractors," said Mr Kaveepan.
K.E. Land projects 700 million baht in revenue this year, including 100 million is rental revenue from its earlier retail project, The Crystal, located on the opposite side of the same road. The rest is from housing developments.
Next year, the company expects at least one billion baht of revenue with half from retail rentals.
The company has no plans for new projects next year but is studying developing an office building opposite the CDC after examining the new city plan.
