Krungsri seeks card growth on HSBC buy
Move to add 500,000 cards, B9bn in debt

Krungsri Consumer, a business unit of Bank of Ayudhya, is seeking more growth opportunities following the acquisition of HSBC's credit card business.
The Bank of Ayudhaya recently purchased HSBC's retail operations in Thailand.
The acquisition is expected to add 500,000 cards and 9 billion baht of debt to Krungsri's consumer credit portfolio.
