Magnolia eyes luxury condo

Magnolia Finest Corporation, the property arm of the Chearavanont family, will kick off an initial 5-billion-baht sales drive in May for a new luxury condominium project specially designed to keep out protesters.
Without going into specifics, managing director Thanawan Chaiwatana said special security features incorporated into the building's architectural design will prevent easy entry by demonstrators.
The anti-protester design stems from the 6.5-rai project being located near the Ratchaprasong intersection, the site of major political demonstrations in recent years, he said.
