Domestic plays likely to shine amid global woes

Recap: The SET Index continued to decline from the first trading day of last week. It moved in the range of 1,179.80 and 1,232.81 points and closed on Friday at 1,191.01, down 2.97% from 1,227.41 points a week earlier.
Foreign investors were large net sellers of 8.11 billion baht. Local institutional and brokers were also net sellers of 3.20 billion and 2.14 billion baht respectively. Retail investors were the only net buyers of 13.45 billion baht.
Big movers: Foreign selling dragged down the prices of large market cap shares, especially those in the banking, food, and retail sectors.
