Over B1bn to bring soft drink to market

Serm Suk Plc, a local bottler of Pepsi, Mirinda and 7 Up, is planning to introduce its own soft drink.
A beverage industry source confirmed yesterday that the new brand from Serm Suk will enter Thailand's 35-billion-baht soft drink market on Nov 1.
The company will end its distribution contract with Pepsi Co Inc _ the trademark owner of Pepsi, Mirinda and 7-Up _ on the same day.
