Kittiratt: AEC favours the bold, so take your chances
Thai businesses are being urged to take an aggressive approach to the upcoming regional economic integration or risk losing business opportunities, says Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong.

"It's like a football game: If your team focuses so much on defending, you will risk losing," he told a seminar entitled "The AEC: Opportunity or Crisis for the Thai Insurance Industry?"
Thai firms have been too defensive about the planned liberalisation of the Asean market, some 601 million people, in 2015.
Companies in some Asean countries will use the AEC as an opportunity to expand business throughout the region.
