Vocational students in demand despite rumbles

Despite their frequent inter-school brawls, vocational students are still desperately needed by the industrial sector.
"Only 1% of vocational students are involved in school brawls, which will not have any impact on producing skilled labourers for the industrial sector," Industry Minister M.R. Pongsvas Svasti said yesterday.
According to the Education Ministry, there are currently 400,000 vocational or technical students nationwide.
