Asustek Computer, the Taiwanese component maker, has pinpointed Thailand as a strategic country for enhancing the firm's global footprint.
Thailand is the second-largest market for the firm, behind only China, thanks to solid economic fundamentals and high spending on information technology.
Asustek makes motherboards, graphics cards, tablets, notebooks and smartphones under the Asus brand.
