"Thailand's exports to Singapore slowed because of lower growth in Singapore as the euro-zone debt crisis had a knock-on effect." No, Thailand's exports to Singapore did not SLOW, they INCREASED, albeit by less than 2%.
The suggested logic in the quoted sentence doesn't make sense either; why would the exports slow, due to lower growth (is still growth, not recession) of the Singapore economy.
Phil's comment, "BKK exports" makes no sense at all. Automobiles and parts are mainly produced in Chon Buri, Rayong, perhaps Ayutthaya, machinery is produced in and exported from many provinces and agricultural products are not grown in BKK either.
