KTC to maintain co-branded card as GSB eyes launch

GSB student credit card already approved

Krungthai Card (KTC) says it will maintain its credit card co-branded with the state-owned Government Savings Bank despite GSB planning to launch its own card.

Rathian Srimongkol, KTC's president and chief executive, said the two have several co-branded cards, and they comprise a relatively high proportion of KTC's 1.6-million credit card base.

"If anything changed, such as the co-brand credit card being cancelled, customers can make a decision by themselves which card suits them best," he said.
