Dhanin offers tips on stimulus

Dhanin Chearavanont, chairman of the Charoen Pokphand Group, wants the government to establish special economic zones in different regions to draw foreign investment, particularly from China.
Speaking at the 92nd anniversary of the Commerce Ministry, the owner of Thailand's biggest agricultural conglomerate noted that China has large international reserves that could be spent on investment abroad.
Mr Dhanin said Thailand could establish special economic zones allowing foreigners to lease land for up to 99 years.
