Boon Rawd plans to build fourth brewery for B10bn

Boon Rawd Brewery Co, the producer of Singha beer, will spend 16 billion baht to set up its fourth brewery upcountry and install new machines at an existing factory in Nakhon Pathom to prepare for future domestic growth and cope with the Asean Economic Community (AEC) in 2015.

Some 6 billion baht will be spent next year to instal new machines and equipment at the existing brewery in Bang Lane district, Nakhon Pathom, raising production capacity at this plant to 1 billion litres per year, up from 280 million, said executive vice-president Palit Bhirom-Bhakdi.
