Banpu eyes Vietnam investment

Despite losing a court case involving a Lao project that could cost it at least 31 billion baht, coal producer Banpu Plc is eyeing Vietnam, and possibly Myanmar, for fresh investment opportunities, company president Chanin Vongkusolkit said on Monday.
Mr Chanin refused to discuss Thursday's ruling by the Civil Court of Thailand. He told reporters that the case would be handled through the legal system and he would not comment publicly.
