Act now, says Thai ambassador

The $50-billion Dawei project will play a major role in helping Thai firms enter Myanmar over the next three years, helping bilateral partnerships, says the Thai ambassador to Myanmar.

    Yes Dawei is very important not only for Myanmar but certainly for Thailand as well. It will be a major boost to Thai industry once it gets going, will probably take 20 years or so to develop fully so there will be many business opportunities on the way.
