WHA seeks mergers with Asean partners

WHA Corporation, a custom-made factory and warehouse manufacturer, wants to expand throughout Asean over the next three years through mergers with local partners.
The company is also planning to expand its factories and warehouses in key border provinces such as Ubon Ratchathani, Chiang Rai, Kanchanaburi and Chiang Mai over the next two years in anticipation of increased demand with the launch of the Asean Economic Community in 2015.
WHA president and chief executive Somyos Anantaprayoon said the logistics and warehouse business is set to expand sharply with the creation of the AEC.
