The article entitled "THAI's purchases questioned" published in the Business section of the Bangkok Post on July 19, 2011, carried mistakes and errors regarding the judgement of Thai Airways International (THAI) in the acquisition of 11 narrow-body jets. The Bangkok Post apologises to Piyasvasti Amrananda, then president of THAI, as the article, written by Boonsong Kositchotethana, reported that THAI board member Apiporn Pasawat had questioned the integrity of THAI's acquisitions process. This was not true.
