Shell lubes up for 2013

Royal Dutch Shell Plc expects to increase its lubricant sales in Thailand by 10% in volume next year, surpassing overall market growth.

The forecast is based on strong growth expected in the country's industrial and automotive sectors.

Shell expects its lubricant sales will grow by 10% to 60 million litres next year with a focus on high-value synthetic products, said Emmanuel Mignot, the general manager for lubricants in Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam and South Korea.
