True rides fixed-line broadband success in expanding market

Thailand's fixed-line high-speed broadband market continues to grow rapidly this year thanks to the proliferation of smartphones and tablets as well as network expansion upcountry.
The local fixed broadband market will grow by 30% this year with 4.5 million household users compared with 20% last year, said Non Ingkutanon, True Corporation's general manager for broadband.
The number of new fixed broadband subscribers will reach 900,000 in 2013, also up by 30%, he said.
