Thailand's first high-efficiency vegetable washing machine has been developed with the support of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA).
Basil leaves are being washed in the machine, which claims to eliminate chemical remnants.
About a year ago, the NSTDA awarded a grant to researchers in Ubon Ratchathani University's mechanical engineering department to work on a pilot vegetable washing machine, and the device is now finished.
