NIA: Mine Europe to license R&D output

While the Asean market is undoubtedly an attractive investment destination these days, with Myanmar especially generating lots of buzz, businesses should not overlook opportunities in knowledge-intensive European economies as that continent lurches forward. 

Thailand must first prepare its basic infrastructure and human resources to take on more advanced research and technology, says Mr Pichet.

Innovation analysts say now is the right time for Thai companies to add value to their business by licensing technology and research output from European companies strapped for cash.
