Dusit International Group, a hotel-management company, is set to enjoy bright prospects next year, projecting 20% growth in both revenue and net profit.
A perspective image of the 37-storey Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, which is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2013. The hotel has 402 guest rooms, 131 serviced apartments and a conference centre.
Political stability has led to the recovery of Thai tourism this year. As a result, Dusit expects it can increase average room rates by 7% for its hotels in Bangkok and 10% in Chiang Mai and Phuket for the first time in four years, said chief executive Chanin Donavanik.
