SET index surges 14.96 points

The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index went up 14.96 points, or 1.08%, to close at 1,397.19 points at the end of trading session this afternoon. The trade value was 37.16 billion baht, with 15.20 billion shares traded.
The SET50 index ended at 951.29 points, up 11.93 points, or 1.27%, with a total trade value of 22.26 billion baht.
The SET100 index rose 25.67 points, or 1.24%, to stand at 2,089.35 points, with a total turnover of 26.74 billion baht.
