Thai Regional Airlines (TRA), the Thai air taxi operator that aspires to become a scheduled airline, vowed to refund passengers for flights that fail to take off.
TRA executives promised at a meeting with the Consumer Protection Board and the Civil Aviation Department on Thursday to settle the issue, which is believed to affect hundreds of people lured by cheap fares for domestic travel.
A senior department official yesterday said TRA will provide a full refund to those who bought tickets in cash within seven days, while for those who purchased using a credit card the period is 45 days.
