D3 You may wish to learn about "rain attenuation" in regards to satellite reception. Sorry but this is something you cannot blame on the Thai's, only on the rain and amazingly (like amazing thailand) rain attenuation occurs in any/every country.

True follows Thai TV,I don't watch sports, and the movie channels keep repeating, with the links I have now I am really enjoying British TV! The varied programs mean I am watching more TV (Sad!)And don't get me started on 'FOX' is it six different soaps? all day every day? 10 mins of TV then 10mins of adverts...very American and very very boring! Thank goodness for the internet.

True and their truly arrogant approach has ended with me stopping all business with them, be it True mobile, True internet or True cable. I don't miss any of it now that I don't have it.

As a non football fan I hope that they will start to broadcast a beter variety of sports.

I gave up with True already, I can watch most of what I want to see for free from the internet.

True's service is horrible. I was in the US last month and satellite service there is amazing. HD channels galore, sophisticated DVRs, links with the internet. Nothing like that is available here for almost the same price.

Thailand needs competition to make this service better.

“He admitted that after losing the English Premier League football broadcasting rights for 2013-16, TrueVisions needs to create some innovative strategies to retain customers”.

Nothing innovative here from an already grossly overpriced service. I and many friends will cease our high end packages come the new EPL season. Yet again TrueVisions are barking up the wrong tree.

D1 And still whenever it rains hard the signal drops. They tell me it is because I live in a weak signal area (Asoke). We farangs just don't understand.

Basic package going to 90 channels? We have the Gold package and I am still trying to figure out exactly what we have.

I would guess that the majority of subscribers to its higher end packages pay primarily for the Premier League matches, which TrueVisions managed to lose (as they did the Euro Championships last year). But instead of lowering the price of the higher end packages they lower the price of the most basic. Am I missing something here, or is it simply the Thainess that we foreigners don't understand?
