Xiao Chi Peng, the head doctor at MCHG, said the hospital is currently in talks with the Thai government to set up its first hospital outside China.
The operator of the 300-bed hospital in Guangzhou province set up its headquarters in Thailand a week ago and has referred 10 patients to the mainland.
