Aroma grinds down Cafe Amazon joint venture talks

The Aroma Group decided not to jointly invest with PTT Plc to run Cafe Amazon coffee chain at the latter's service stations nationwide, as Aroma says it has a different business vision.
However, the group is willing to maintain a business partnership with PTT after its management contract for Cafe Amazon ends in February 2014, said executive director Kijja Wongvaree.
Aroma has been working closely with PTT on the Cafe Amazon chain since it had only 10 branches and sold fewer than 10 cups a day.
