KBank to name president but stick with strategy

Kasikornbank will announce its new president at the end of next month but it has pledged to keep its existing business strategy in place.

The new president will replace Banthoon Lamsam, who will still hold the position of chief executive.

The fourth largest lender by assets appointed four senior executive vice-presidents, called domain coordinators, in July 2011 to oversee operations after former president Prasarn Trairatvorakul resigned to become the Bank of Thailand's governor.
