The Royal Thai Army's Channel 5 will spend 3 billion baht to provide a digital terrestrial TV network for other channels in the future.
The station's technical department will file a detailed business plan with the Channel 5 board first before submitting it to the Royal Thai Army, which will consider budget approval.
After that, Channel 5 will file its application with the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Committee (NBTC) for all three categories of digital TV: facilities provider, network provider and services provider.
