Signs of peace prevail after rancorous FTI protest

Chairman Payungsak Chartsutthipol and the opposition group, led by former vice-chairman Tanit Sorat, yesterday agreed to set up committees to work out their differences and hopefully end the conflict.

"Although we have not agreed on a deadline, I would say an agreement should be reached within 10 days at the latest," said Mr Tanit.
