Thai Life expects spike in premiums

Healthy 2012 figures engender optimism

Thai Life Insurance Plc, the country's second-largest life insurer, targets 25% growth in its first-year premiums this year after healthy sales growth last year in both new business and total premiums.

‘We foresee first-year premiums jumping 25% ... Thai Life will continue to tailor products, varying protection and savings for our clients,’ says Mr Chai.

The company reported first-year premium growth through all distribution channels to 12.4 billion baht, a rise of 40% from 2011, said president Chai Chaiyawan.
