These Eurocrats are really becoming a comedy. Nobody in their right mind believes that Europe's problems are anywhere close to being solved. The survival of the Eurozone is entirely questionable. Spain is still in full collapse mode, and France is extremely close. The similarities between Europe and the now failed USSR are amazing -- right down to the unending propaganda.

Until interest rates have returned to positive rates in real terms, until central banks stop to print trillions, until governments stops banks trading in derivatives and countries start to produce goods again instead of relying on consumption only, nothing has changed. It is said that derivatives are 40 times greater than the value of the global economy and it was created by bankers/traders to increase their income potential.

Dream on.It has only just started with more countries about to need monetary assistance. Grease and Spain are going under and Italy is close behind. All in the name of politics and jobs for the boys.It started out the common market and then the politicians got ideas above its station and remit. The only thing keeping it alive is Germany and the average German has had enough, propping up the sick lame and Lazy.

On Finance blogs France is tipped as the major economy that is set for collapse. Europe is a debt disaster, only money printing has stopped a complete collapse, money printing can work short term however the long term penalties are worse than having the courage to actually fix the real problems. The Euro doesn't work as the member countries have different paced economies, anyone for Greek, Spanish, Italian, Irish or Portuguese bonds?

What rubbish only yesterday it was all over the European papers saying the crisis is far from over, it was only last week that the French finance minister said his country was Bankrupt.

He must have been on a high! and dreaming!

But how I wish, it were true

I would say that he is partly correct when he said France is committed to a balanced budget, because it seeks to avoid a debt problem like Greece's.
However France IS part of the EU and has to follow more or less their guidelines. Any group of nations is only really as stong as the weakest members and the stronger nations are committed to help the weaker ones sometimes to their own detriment.
