The head of Thailand's largest water supplier has finally come out to deny allegations the company gave 10 billion baht to a key Democrat Party executive for personal use.

Praphant Asava-aree, the chief executive of Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Plc, and other company executives have been charged by the Office of the Auditor-General (OAG) with setting up fake projects funded by 10 billion baht of the company's money to "sponsor" Democrat deputy secretary Sathit Pitutecha, with the money actually going for personal expenditures.
